Match Reports

Two sides that haven`t played Rugby for some weeks. It was always going to be a difficult fixture and Old Ruts had ensured a large aggressive pack.  With a few no shows it was lovely to to see Chey step in and assist the front row and Richard C the back row.  The fixture was tight to the last with Old Ruts rolling a try in at the end of the first half and increasing to eight points with one of their many penalties. The gap was shortened with a well taken penallty from the boot of Sam before Richard made a break down the right hand side, ignoring the three man overlap he straightened up, danced around the last man and fell over the line. Sadly the conversion attempt went the wrong side of the right post.

Well done to Ian and Russell who both played out of position but stepped up and played well for the team.   

     Well done all of you a good effort and a just result. 

        Now please get up to training this week and lets move on again.
