Well done to all players on both sides!

Having played so little rugby over the last 6weeks it was great to see the boys turn out for this league fixture.

Sadly some players didn`t make it, leaving players having to play out of position. I hope they will ALL make training next week.

Tommy N settled the Chipstead squad down with an early 3 points that was soon added to with a lovely forwards / backs link ending with Ashley finishing it off. Tommy then pounced on a ball in midfield and darted in under the posts

Then what? Too many penalties, loss of focus, indiscipline, fitness or a mix of all?

You tell me!

Some stout defending after a lot a ground being lost to the penalty count led to a Chobham revival.

To their credit Chobham kept going, stepped up and made a good game of it with a lovely worked move from a line out and down the blindside for a try (unconverted).

The fixture went into the second half and the score added to with a wonderfull surging run from Ben and a fourth (bonus point) try from the busy Tommy N after some lovely handling skills from the makeshift back line.. Chobham never gave up and also added to the score caed with a second try down the left wing and a successfull penalty.

Well done Toby and Matt H both had great performances up front and Tommy at 10 was on top form well done.

Next Sunday training for the whole squad will be at 11am until 1pm
