Chipstead U15s B vs Esher U15s B
Today we witnessed a very competitive Surrey league 4 game between two evenly matched sides.
Chipstead started very strongly dominating the first 10 minutes. This culminated in a try for Daniel Gibson. 5-0 Chipstead.
Esher came back strongly at Chips and unfortunately levelled the game with a well worked try.
Half time and 5-5
Playing up the slope in the second half Chipstead struggled to make inroads into the Esher half. Esher crossed the Chips try line for a second time. 5-10 to Esher.
Esher caught the ball from the restart and unfortunately all the Chipstead players did was pat him on the shoulder 7 times as he ran the ball in from 70 yards. 5-15 Esher.
What is great about these guys is that they never gave up and the last 10 mins was all Chipstead
This pressure told when the boys called a move and Toby Lettman blasted through to make the score 10-15. This was the last play of the game.
Esher rucked the ball better and we fell off too many tackles. The boys will learn from today and move forward.
